The new headquarters brings all of the credit union's services together in an organized manner to create better working relationships and efficiencies, the member services and employees for a new branch, and a central space for community engagement. This combination balances the need for security, stability, and transparency, the building is designed with natural light, open collaboration spaces, greenery, and a living wall, as well as glass, stone, and secure access points. The environment is welcoming and protected.
In response to this challenge, and in an acknowledgment to northeast Wisconsin's climate, the architects and engineers responded to Community First's needs with an almost 100% day-lit interior, live plants, incredibly open work areas and amenity spaces that are multi-purpose. All are radiating out from a two-story lobby which greets you upon entering the building.
The interior design incorporates intentional customer experience zones, many of which are next practices for financial institutions. The facility features a comfortable openness while maintaining the necessary levels of access, control, and security common to all financial institutions.
Every employee has views of the outside environment and surrounding area. And every member can see how their credit union is working hard to help its members. This is the transparency the building embraces and celebrates. It is more than a vision; it is a tool that sets the stage for positively impacting the local community.
